Homecompanionmag.com is on the scene at the annual CHA Winter Convention and Trade Show

February 1, 2007
By John Pagliaro, Publisher Anaheim, CA…….A busy day for Mary... starting off by visiting some top advertisers and then a 10:00-12:00 signing at Leisure Arts, an ME licensee, and, one of the world's largest publishers of lifestyle and instructional publications.  She signs over 200 copies of their newest Scrapbooking and Card Making publications.  At 2:00, Mary has a podcast interview with Beth Mauro, Editor of CNA, a leading craft trade publication.  Mary talks about the Craft Show, her art, artists, the magazine and much more.....stay tuned to hear it soon on homecompanionmag.com.  At 6:00-8:00, Mary has another signing, a very special one, where she will sign one of her newest books, Artful Words for many of the magazine's leading advertisers including: Autumn Leaves, Anna Griffin Inc., Addicted to Scrapbooking, Avery, Bazzill Basics Paper, Basic Grey, Caron International, Close to My Heart, Craft Locker, Daylight Company, Doodlebug Design, Fancy Pants, Hand-Dyed Hobbies, K & Company, Kaufman Fabrics, Leisure Arts, Old California Lantern, Ott-Lite Tecnology, PageSage, Purl Patchwork, RJR Fabrics, Sakura of America, Scenic Route, SEI, StoneCreek Creations, Tsukineko, TweedyJill Publications, and Xyron . Everyone had a wonderful time meeting Mary and chatting with industry experts.

Papers, Papers, Papers….all over the show we see the greatest paper products used for scrapbooking, paper crafts, home design or however else you desire to use them which leads to one of the themes of this show…."anything goes, just try it!"  The leading craft companies are pushing consumers to have no fear and to have the courage to create something, even if it fails because the mistakes will help you make something better the next time.

From bright colors to pastels to altered artforms, papers are the star of this show with new designs and endless possibilities for you…..check them out at retail.

More to come…..
