January 28, 2007
By John Pagliaro, Publisher Anaheim, CA…...On the eve of what is expected to be the largest Craft & Hobby Association Trade Show ever, many are wondering what will catch the eyes of the key buyers in the industry.  Well... with over 1100 exhibitors with their talented designers on hand to show off their newest and latest craft lines we will see today, as the doors open and over 12,000 industry professionals take a look.  Many call it the World's Fair for Crafts and over the years it has is truly become a global show with new products from Japan, Brazil, UK, Australia, India, Canada, Italy, France and others.

Some are already saying that the Home Accents Spotlight will be the hot area to see given the fast growing trend of….. crafting for the home.

Many want to know where will the scrapbook industry is going given that business is flat and looking for some new products to take it to that next level  ....we expect to see many innovative ideas to help drive this ever changing market.   Other areas of interest will be the needlearts market which is becoming more popular than ever…. with quilting, embellishing, beading, crocheting, and  knitting giving millions a chance to develop their personal expression.  Paper crafts should be something to watch for with all the new products for cardmaking and home design....

And we can go on and on, so stay tuned as we check it all out….
