TO MAKE
STEP 1
Create design or type letters on computer. (Note: To save ink, print only
outline of letter or image.)
STEP 2
Cut out letter or image, leaving a 1-inch border all around. Cut piece of
transfer paper the same size.
STEP 3
Attach transfer paper to pot with masking tape, then tape pattern over transfer
paper.
STEP 4
Use pencil to trace outline of letter or motif.
STEP 5
Remove tape, transfer paper, and pattern from pot.
STEP 6
With small paintbrush and masking fluid, fill in the outlined image or letter on
the pot. Let dry.
STEP 7
Use 2-inch paintbrush to paint entire outside of pot, covering masking fluid.
Let dry.
STEP 8
Carefully lift off and remove masking fluid with X-acto® knife.
STEP 9
With eraser, clean remaining bits of masking fluid and transfer paper marks.
