(k) Use any stocking pattern to create this one in felt or heavy table flannel, but adapt the cuff to form a round corner for a collar look with ribbon ties. You’ll need to trace the blade template (download and print template* ) onto balsa wood and cut with an X-Acto® knife. If you prefer a thicker “blade,” cut out several pieces of wood and glue them together. Sand edges. Use an awl to pierce holes in each upright blade.
