(h) Jeanne Goodman’s colored pencil drawings explore the human figure and
animal forms. (i) Local arts organizations support the Children’s Workshop
Village, which features hands-on activities for kids. Easel painting is one of
the highlights.
(j) Is it jewelry or is it sculpture? Cool juxtapositions of silver and brass,
pillboxes, watch parts, photos, buttons—with many pieces dating from the 1880s
to the 1930s—are the core of Marty Whipple’s designs. When you’re not wearing
her pins, lockets, necklaces, or earrings, put them on display, as the artist
does at the show. (k) Alan Klug’s monochromatic photography invites meditation.
(l) Hand-built Italian calfskin belts from Anna Quinn feature original buckle
designs, cast in sterling over bronze.
