No-Sew” Tablecloth
Here’s an easy way to achieve a most colorful and creative effect with just a freshly-washed king-size sheet (at least 50% cotton), a pencil and some regular latex paints.

Instructions
1. Wash a king-size sheet (at least 50% cotton) and position it evenly over the table you wish to cover.
2. Cut around the bottom to desired length (it doesn’t have to be perfect).
3. On a flat surface, pencil a design (we used a “tablecloth upon a tablecloth” idea), and paint with regular latex paints.

If you don’t like the rough feel when the paint dries, take a very fine-grade sandpaper and go over the whole surface. Latex paint makes the fabric water-resistant and gives it the feel of an awning. Do not put tablecloth in washing machine.
