This Special Holiday project is brought to you by our friends at Anna Griffin™.
Instructions:
1. Paint paper mache oval with acrylic paint. 2. Cut 8 different patterned papers to 6” W x 1.5” H. On the back side, draw a pencil line along the edge. This will serve as a guideline for which to cut with your decorative edge scissors. Trim each piece. 3. Apply liquid glue to the front of the paper mache oval. Layer each piece of paper with the decorative edge towards the top; overlap each piece slightly. Once all pieces are adhered, flip over and trim excess off with a craft knife. Lightly sand edges with a fine sand paper or emery board (this will eliminate uneven edges). Dot edges with glitter glue. Allow to dry. 4. Cut an oval from solid yellow paper. You can use a die cut system or cut with a pair of decorative edge scissors. 5. Adhere flocked bunny sticker to the center of the oval. 6. Apply rub ons to spell out Happy Easter. 7. Outline flocked sticker with glitter glue. Allow to dry. 8. Once the small oval is dry, apply to the front of the paper mache plaque. 9. Adhere ribbon to outer edge. 10. Thread ribbon through the existing grommets to hang.
